Aegidium angustum Frolov, Akhmetova & Vaz-de-Mello

 

Original description: Frolov et al., 2017

Type locality: Ecuador, Cotopaxi, Sigchos.

Type depository: Civic Museum of Natural History, Genova, Italy.

Diagnosis. Can be separated from other continental members of Aegidium by its brachyptery and small eyes.

Distribution. Known from two high-altitude localities on the slopes of Cotapaxi Volcano in the Ecuadorian Andes.
