Aegidium bordoni Frolov, Akhmetova & Vaz-de-Mello

 

Original description: Frolov et al., 2017

Type locality: Venezuela, Aragua, Rancho Grande National Reserve.

Type depository: Biosciences Institute, Federal University of Mato Grosso, Cuiabá, Brazil.

Diagnosis. Similar to Ae. columbianum but can be separated from it by shorter parameres with less protruding lateral teeth and endophallus without hookshaped
sclerites.

Distribution. Known from a few localities in Venezuelan Andes (Cordillera de la Costa).
