Aegidium howdeni Frolov, Akhmetova & Vaz-de-Mello

 

Original description: Frolov et al., 2017

Type locality: Panama, Chiriquí, Finca La Suiza.

Type depository: Canadian Museum of Nature, Ottawa, Canada.

Diagnosis. Most similar to Ae. sinuatum Frolov et al. but can be separated from it by mesotibiae with a tuft of setae on inner side apically, relatively narrow parameres (in lateral view), and posterior angles of pronotum weakly sinuate or not.

Distribution. Known from a few localities in southern Central America (Cordillera de Talamanca).
