Aegidium onorei Frolov, Akhmetova & Vaz-de-Mello
Original description: Frolov et al., 2017
Type locality: Ecuador, Cotopaxi, San Francisco de las Pampas.
Type depository: CEMT.
Diagnosis. Can be separated from other Aegidium species by the presence of granulate sides of the pronotum and mesotibiae with a tuft of dense setae on the inner side apically in males.
Distribution. Known from a few mid-altitude localities in western Ecuadorian Andes.
