Macroderes minutus Frolov et Scholtz, 2005
Diagnosis. This species differs from other Macroderes species in its smaller average size (7.0-9.5 mm). It is similar to M. politulus and M. nitidus in body shape and punctuation of pronotum but can be separated from the former species by evenly shiny to slightly opaque, flat elytral intervals and from the latter species in having lateral margins of pronotum not punctate. From both species it also differs in the shape of internal sac sclerite.
