Sarophorus punctatus habitus

Sarophorus punctatus Frolov et Scholtz, 2003

 

Dagnosis. This species is most similar to S. tuberculatus but differs from it in having the pronotum without smooth areas and in the widened and depressed apices of parameres.

 

Distribution.The species is known only from the type locality: South Africa, Western Cape Province, Keurboomstrand.

Body length: 7.0–7.5 mm.
